TinderReport

How does TinderReport work?

  • Taking Reports

    Report your assault!
If a sexual assault goes unreported, nothing will change. Victims of sexual assault are encouraged to report their experience using our online form. After a sexual assault has been reported, TinderReport does not take any further action until the accusations are supported by one or more official police reports.

In addition to reporting a sexual predator on this website, you can also take steps to report their user profile on Tinder directly.

  • Offender Database

After verifying with law enforcement that the victim's story is also supported by one or more official police reports, the perpetrator's information is added as a new record to our database. In turn, our data may be made available upon request to private investigators and law enforcement entities. Data requests can be sent to info@tinderreport.com.

  • Community Alerts

Once a new record has been added to our Offender Database, TinderReport sends out both print and digital alerts to the offender's surrounding community, including but not limited to: neighboring houses/apartments, local businesses, places of worship and various online spaces.

FAQs

While these crimes can take a wide variety of formats, sexual assault is clearly and simply defined as any non-consensual sexual activity.

Absolutely, yes. Because you found a sexual partner on tinder.com, it is certainly implied that you wished at one time to engage in consensual sexual activity with this person. However, the fact that you were on a "Tinder date" does not give them permission to assault you in any way. Even if you consented to sex beforehand, the other party is required by law to engage in consensual sex only. If the other party forces you to take part in a sexual act without your permission, or does not stop a sexual act after being asked, they are committing a sexual assault.

You can and should report your attacker to law enforcement. Sexual assault can be classified as a misdemeanor or a felony depending on the circumstances. In all cases, sexual assault is a punishable crime. Additionally, TinderReport will not distribute community alerts without first confirming that one or multiple police reports have been made.
